DevCon purchased and organized training program for the in-house staff (civil engineers and urban planners) to enhance their capability in Transport Planning/Modelling. The training focused on the first hand use of the transport modelling software named CUBE (latest version 6.4), developed by CITILABS. The trained team has developed a transport demand model of the proposed East-West Elevated Expressway (section of Middle Ring Road to connect Dhaka-Chittagong Highway, N1 to Dhaka-Khulna Highway, N8). "Cube is the most flexible and open transportation and land-use modeling platform, helping planners and transportation engineers make the most informed decisions to create a better transportation system."

AEDT is a software system that models aircraft performance in space and time to estimate fuel consumption, emissions, noise, and air quality consequences. AEDT is a comprehensive tool that provides information to FAA stakeholders on each of these specific environmental impacts. AEDT facilitates environmental review activities required under NEPA by consolidating the modeling of these environmental impacts in a single tool. AEDT is designed to model individual studies ranging in scope from a single flight at an airport to scenarios at the regional, national, and global levels. AEDT leverages geographic information system (GIS) and relational database technology to achieve this scalability and offers rich opportunities for exploring and presenting results.

The new Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 features an OcuSync HD transmission system, which supports automatic dual-frequency band switching and connects to DJI Goggles wirelessly. Like the Phantom 4 Pro and Advanced, the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is equipped with a 1-inch 20-megapixel sensor capable of shooting 4K/60fps video and Burst Mode stills at 14 fps. Plus, its Flight Autonomy system includes dual rear vision sensors and infrared sensing systems for a total of 5 directions of obstacle sensing and 4 directions of obstacle avoidance. The Phantom 4 Pro V2.0’s remote controller uses OcuSync video transmission, which employs time-division multiplexing technology to send control signal and receive video signal simultaneously. When the controller is powered on, the OcuSync system scans for the frequency band with lowest interference and switches accordingly to maintain clear transmission. Also, thanks to OcuSync, the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 wirelessly connects to DJI Goggles. Free from cable constraints, FPV flight at speeds of up to 72kph (45mph) in S-mode.
