PROJECT DESCRIPTION
- Construction of 48.80 km DG new Rail Track (Main line≈45.00 Km. & loop & sidings≈ 3.80 km) parallel to existing rail track from Dhaka to Tongi
- 12.28 km DG rail track (Main line≈11.28 Km & loop & sidings≈1.00 km) parallel to existing rail track from Tongi to Joydevpur including Signaling and other allied works
KEY SERVICES
- Developing systems and procedures, making all engineering decisions required for the successful and timely implementation of the construction contract, Project Planning, Project coordination, Project interfacing or linkages using Project Management Software
- Supervision of all construction work in accordance with drawings, sequence and specifications embodied in the contract document.
- Making all necessary measurements and certify payments as per standard format.
- Ensuring compliance to all safety requirements while the work is in progress
- Project monitoring for the implementation of the Project up to commissioning of the project or/and the end of the defect liability period
- Testing of complete signalling installation as per various provisions in the codes, manuals and Railways instructions
- Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and other reports
- Provide technical guidance to the contractor and Conduct regular monitoring of environmental quality (air, water, noise, soil) in and around the construction site
- Inspection and checking the infrastructure developed under the project to ensure whether any defect(s) or discrepancy has been noticed during Defect Liability Period.
- Advise and guide the Client in regard to materialize the rectification to be made by the contractor in case of any defect(s) noticed under the clause concerned
- Developing systems and procedures to administer the construction contracts and ensure that the contractual requirements, with respect to both quality and quantity of work in accordance with the provisions of the construction contract.
- Supervision of all construction work in accordance with drawings, sequence and specifications embodied in the contract document
- Ensuring compliance to all safety requirements while the work is in progress.
- Testing of complete signalling installation as per various provisions in the codes, manuals and Railways instructions as followed by BR and recording of complete testing data and submission the same to the client.
- Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and other reports as per formats developed by the Consultant and approved by the Client, required for management of the project and reporting to different controlling authorities.
- Provide technical guidance to the contractor and Conduct regular monitoring of environmental quality (air, water, noise, soil) in and around the construction site and maintain records for the same
